‘I Only Exist in the Light’ graphite on cream Stonehenge paper. A drawing I put together for a show opening June 1st with @beinartgallery . The goal was to draw someone lying in the shade of a tree, but all the areas in the shadow are vertically carved out. I had a lot of fun with this one and hope it shows. One of those rare drawings that came together relatively quickly, and I like the potential for different meanings to be projected onto it. All the best! ☀️.“
